The Building Content Summit is an event dedicated to improving BIM content by bringing together thought leaders from the worlds of Design, Manufacturing and Software/Services. We invite you to be an influencer in this 2-day event.

The BCS is not just lectures about standards and formats, or reference planes and geometry, but a roundtable approach to rethinking the tools in our libraries.

 

The summit brings together individuals representing three groups: Designers, Manufacturers and Service Providers (Platform Developers, Content Creators). The mixed nature of the gathering fosters collaboration between each. The goal is to better understand the unique challenges facing each and look for overlapping interests that can be addressed.

The mission is simple: Bring together passionate individuals that can lead discussions around content for years to come. There isn’t enough time in a couple of days to solve all these challenges. That’s why we invite you to attend. Lay the groundwork. Be a pioneer. Be a leader.

  • Designers: Communicate design needs to manufacturers to invest less time and resources into the development of in-house content.
  • Manufacturers: Discover a new way to differentiate and market your products to the design community and discover what is necessary for this to succeed from the eyes of the customer.
  • Software and Content Developers: Understand the needs of designers to improve their productivity and discover what manufacturer related knowledge is necessary for accurate content.

COVID-19 Update

20th May 2020

DBEI has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation around the world. While some parts of our society are beginning to open in baby-steps, none of us know how the situation will develop over the coming months. As such, DBEI has now made the decision to postpone all our 2020 events to 2021 as the well-being of all our partners and participants in our events remains our utmost priority. For new details on each region please visit our event pages. We have also sent communications to all registered attendees, speakers or sponsors for all of our 2020 events.

In the interim, DBEI will be launching several exciting virtual events and webinars in 2020 to continue to deliver the same expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry during these uncertain times. We also have some other exciting initiatives we are working on to continue to provide value to our community, which we look forward to sharing with you all shortly.
