BILT ANZ 2021

DBEI Hackathon

01 September, 2021, Sydney, Australia

COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis and the current Australian Government restrictions on public gatherings now in place, It is with a heavy heart that DBEI has made the decision to postpone this year’s BILT ANZ, BCS & DBEI Hackathon to 1-4 September, 2021 at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.

We appreciate that we’ve taken some time to come to this decision, but it’s not a decision we take lightly. Getting people together to share knowledge and grow as a community has always been central to our organisation.

We’d like to thank all our attendees, speakers and sponsors for their ongoing support and patience as we navigate through this difficult time. You play a key role in the success of these events, and you are a core part of the DBEI/BILT community. The team have been greatly touched by the numerous emails, messages and phone calls of support that we have received. As a global not-for profit, the organisation of events this size can be very challenging particularly in the current climate, and the very existence of DBEI wouldn’t be possible without the continued understanding and support from across industry so our gratitude and thanks go out to you.

ABOUT THE DBEI HACKATHON

The Digital Built Environment Institute is proud to announce its second Hackathon in Sydney running on Wednesday, 17th June at International Towers, Barangaroo, Sydney. This is running in conjunction with, and a day prior to the commencement of BILT ANZ.

This year’s theme is “Collaboration Systems”. We’re interested in solutions that focus on clear, concise, and effective communication of intent, proposals, and solutions involving the best technologies pushed one step farther. Whether you’d like to explore better data interoperability or real-time collaboration in virtual reality, we’d like to see what’s possible to ensure the deepest understanding of project issues and their resolution. Join us to explore past the horizon of today’s collaborative methods and start building the better systems of the future!

COVID-19 Update

20th May 2020

DBEI has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation around the world. While some parts of our society are beginning to open in baby-steps, none of us know how the situation will develop over the coming months. As such, DBEI has now made the decision to postpone all our 2020 events to 2021 as the well-being of all our partners and participants in our events remains our utmost priority. For new details on each region please visit our event pages. We have also sent communications to all registered attendees, speakers or sponsors for all of our 2020 events.

In the interim, DBEI will be launching several exciting virtual events and webinars in 2020 to continue to deliver the same expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry during these uncertain times. We also have some other exciting initiatives we are working on to continue to provide value to our community, which we look forward to sharing with you all shortly.

We wish to thank you all for your support and appreciate your patience and understanding under the current circumstances and will continue to update our website and the community if there are any changes.

If you have any concerns or questions about our events please email us at info@dbei.org
