BILT ANZ Postponed

To the DBEI Community,

I hope this finds you well in these most challenging of times. Due to the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis and the current Australian Government restrictions on public gatherings now in place, It is with a heavy heart that DBEI has made the decision to postpone this year’s BILT ANZ, BCS & DBEI Hackathon to 1-4 September, 2021 at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.

We appreciate that we’ve taken some time to come to this decision, but it’s not a decision we take lightly. Getting people together to share knowledge and grow as a community has always been central to our organisation.

With this in mind, we are still looking to continue this mission through this difficult time, and look to launch several exciting virtual events in 2020 to continue to deliver the same expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry and foster growth and support for the DBEI community.

We also have some other exciting initiatives we are working on to continue to provide value to our community and we look forward to sharing all this with you over the coming weeks via email and social media.

We’d like to thank all our attendees, speakers and sponsors for their ongoing support and patience as we navigate through this difficult time. You play a key role in the success of these events, and you are a core part of the DBEI/BILT community. The team have been greatly touched by the numerous emails, messages and phone calls of support that we have received. As a global not-for profit, the organisation of events this size can be very challenging particularly in the current climate, and the very existence of DBEI wouldn’t be possible without the continued understanding and support from across industry so our gratitude and thanks go out to you.
