BILT ANZ Social Functions!

Are you starting to get excited yet with BILT ANZ now just weeks away? We are too! And we still have so much news and announcements to share with you – we still haven’t even announced our keynote yet!!! But today’s announcements are not about speakers or sponsors or who should come to BILT. Today’s blog post is about the evening events – held by many to be one of the best aspects of the conference, allowing you to connect with like minded individuals keen to connect and share knowledge well after the last class has ended (perhaps with a drink in hand!) Remember if you are registered for the full three days of BILT all of the social events are included in your ticket.

Having seen how well you all scrubbed up last year for our “Glitz and Glam” party last year, we’ve decided to ask you all to dress up again this year for our Casino Royale Party, sponsored by NBS. Step into the glamour and intrigue of the Casino Royale and take a step into the world of James Bond. Featuring professional casino games, glittering diamonds, flowing champagne and scrumptious food, this will be the premier social event of BILT ANZ!

Your mission – would James Bond wear this outfit? Or dress up as one of the other host of other Bond characters. Plan ahead and bring your costume, join up with your colleagues and friends to create a team or dash out during the event to ensure you are one of our best dressed.

You will have the chance to sip champagne while you play at poker, roulette and other casino games – all without losing your real money! If games of chance aren’t your thing, dance the night away or retire to our networking lounge to continue the week’s discussions of models, skill and synchronization.

Like last years gala party, this won’t be a staid sit down dinner, but a night of roaming fun with canapes and food stations.

This year we are mixing it up, traditionally our Thursday evening Welcome function is held in the Exhibition Hall, but this year, we will welcome you to the BILT Street Party. Join us at the BILT Street Party for outdoor food markets, drinks, live acoustic music, games including Jenga and Connect 4 and a setting for you to keep networking with your friends and colleagues. Just a short walk from the Crown Conference Centre at the Showtime Event Centre along the Yarra River in South Wharf. Whilst the official street party ends at 10pm, the party continues with bars along the street open late to allow you to continue catching up with friends both old and new.

Friday night will be our traditional drinks and canapes in the exhibition hall with the sponsors. This gives you a chance to chat with our sponsors and checkout the booths in a more relaxed atmosphere. Listen out for announcements on the day for any after parties – official or otherwise!
