The Digital Built Environment Institute is deeply saddened to announce that it has made the difficult decision to postpone all in-person events for this year due to coronavirus (COVID-19). This includes BILT, BILT Academy, BCS, Data Day, DTS and DBEI Hackathon in all regions.

We have rescheduled all in-person events to 2021 with the new dates and venues listed below.

  • BILT Asia: 21-23 April 2021, Sands Convention Centre, Singapore
  • Digital Built Week Europe: 11-15 May 2021, Valencia Conference Centre, Valencia, Spain
  • Digital Built Week North America: 7-10 July 2021, Hyatt Regency Denver, Colorado
  • BILT + BCS ANZ: 1-4 September 2021, International Convention Centre, Sydney, Australia

“We would like to thank all our attendees, speakers, sponsors and the greater community for their ongoing support and patience as we navigate through this difficult time,” Executive Chairman, Wesley Benn said.

“Our entire team are heartbroken that we have had to postpone our events after spending so many months working to piece the events together, however the health and wellbeing of all our event attendees is our highest priority and we felt that we could not guarantee this given the current climate.”

In light of this change, we are working hard to put together virtual events and webinars to continue to deliver the same high level of expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry that our usual in-person events provide and we look forward to sharing this with the community very shortly.

COVID-19 Update

20th May 2020

DBEI has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation around the world. While some parts of our society are beginning to open in baby-steps, none of us know how the situation will develop over the coming months. As such, DBEI has now made the decision to postpone all our 2020 events to 2021 as the well-being of all our partners and participants in our events remains our utmost priority. For new details on each region please visit our event pages. We have also sent communications to all registered attendees, speakers or sponsors for all of our 2020 events.

In the interim, DBEI will be launching several exciting virtual events and webinars in 2020 to continue to deliver the same expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry during these uncertain times. We also have some other exciting initiatives we are working on to continue to provide value to our community, which we look forward to sharing with you all shortly.
