Meet the Committee PART II (ANZ Edition)

Next up in part II of this series is Ceilidh Higgins, Marketing Guru within the BILT ANZ Committee.

1. If you could travel to any city in the world right now, where would you go?
   Right now, my family is keen to go back to Singapore.  We had a few days stopover there in 2019 and I was supposed to go back in 2020 for BILT Asia… my daughter who was 3 at the time still remembers the waterslides and breakfast buffet at our resort.
   
2. What is your dream job?
   I have in fact just started an amazing new role as a Workplace Strategy Consultant with CBRE.  I’ve long been interested in workplace design and in particular the human side of how place and space impacts how we work so I’m really looking forward to working more in this space in my new role!
   
3. What have you enjoyed most/least during the last 24 months?
   Work from home – love it!  But at the same time, I do prefer when we can choose to go to the office some of the time and see the team.  For someone who works in workplace, the focus and discussion we are now seeing around how and where we work is exciting.
   
4. What has been your favourite moment from past DBEI events? (a particular speaker, session or social event etc…)
   So many favourites – of course many memorable social events in recent years from the 80s party to James Bond Casino Royale.  The most memorable event for me was probably  Chicago 2014 – partly because it was my first overseas event and so different to an ANZ event but at the same time so familiar.  And they accepted us to speak as the BIMinions which was pretty funny.
