Merry Christmas from the Team at DBEI!

the Digital Built Environment Institute would like to wish you a very joyous Christmas and New Year period. We thought we’d leave you with a couple of things you may like to know. Planning is now already well under way for our major 2019 events. We have a few key dates coming up in January for you to keep in the diary:

  • Abstracts for our newly named Digital Built Week North America (BILT NA, Data Day, BCS NA, DTS) will close on Monday 7th January – make sure you check it out if you’re thinking of joining us in Seattle in July.
  • Registration for next year’s BILT ANZ in Melbourne will open on the 14th of January!
  • Abstracts for next year’s BILT Europe will close on the 29th of January, so if you want to join us in Edinburgh in October make sure you submit your ideas! 
  • In case you missed it we are holding a one day BILT: Digital Day in Shanghai on April 2nd. Registration will open the week of the 21st of January!

If you want to stay in the loop for any of these events, make sure you join our mailing list to be notified when registrations and special offers are available. You can specify which region you’re interested in so you only get the information you want.

For those keen on joining us down under, we’ve been through all the submitted abstracts and advised which have been accepted and which haven’t. We’ve got 92 sessions jam-packed into an incredible schedule, featuring some great headline speakers, and some brand new subjects and streams. In case you didn’t pick it up, we are absolutely pumped! We’ll be providing more details on this early in the new year.

COVID-19 Update

20th May 2020

DBEI has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation around the world. While some parts of our society are beginning to open in baby-steps, none of us know how the situation will develop over the coming months. As such, DBEI has now made the decision to postpone all our 2020 events to 2021 as the well-being of all our partners and participants in our events remains our utmost priority. For new details on each region please visit our event pages. We have also sent communications to all registered attendees, speakers or sponsors for all of our 2020 events.

In the interim, DBEI will be launching several exciting virtual events and webinars in 2020 to continue to deliver the same expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry during these uncertain times. We also have some other exciting initiatives we are working on to continue to provide value to our community, which we look forward to sharing with you all shortly.
