Pop the Champagne cork!
Are you starting to get excited yet with Digital Built Week North America now just weeks away? We are too! And we still have so much news and announcements to share with you! Today’s blog post is about the evening events – held by many to be one of the best aspects of the conference, allowing you to connect with like minded individuals keen to connect and share knowledge well after the last class has ended (perhaps with a drink in hand!)
For those of you attending Data Day or DTS on the Wednesday, join us after a busy day to network with your peers while enjoying a beverage and some hors d’oeuvres. Big thanks to UNIFI Labs for sponsoring the evening!
Thursday night, will be our traditional drinks and canapes in the exhibition hall with a shout out to Bluebeam for sponsoring the evening. This gives you a chance to chat with our sponsors and checkout the booths in a more relaxed atmosphere. Listen out for announcements on the day for any after parties – official or otherwise!
Read Thomas and Enscape will once again sponsor this year’s Friday night offsite function at the MoPOP – the Museum of Pop Culture! Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Frank O. Gehry, MoPOP is a spectacular museum dedicated to the ideas and risk-taking that fuel contemporary popular culture.
In addition, The scavenger hunt will be back! And yes – there will be prizes! So get your DBEI events app ready to explore, capture and connect with your technology loving peers as you explore the entire museum. We’ll have access to all the galleries – including south galleries. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served. Transportation will be provided via buses to shuttle and pick up and drop off back at hotel.
Surrounded by green year round, we’ve decided that Emerald Elegance would be a fitting theme for our final night’s Gala Dinner extravagance, sponsored by BIMsmith!
Get creative! In the past we’ve awarded popular and fun prizes based on winning Gala Dinner attire and this year won’t be any different. Specifically – lots of green:
- Green formal wear
- Green costume jewelry
- Green tie
- Green hair anyone? 🙂
Or perhaps you can just plan to make your colleagues green with envy of your dance moves. And speaking of envious dance moves, Kelly Cone will the emcee for the evenings festivities. Prepare to be dressed your emerald best and join your peers to celebrate another successful conference!
See you in Seattle!
