Synopsis: It’s surely everyone’s dream to have a robot servant to do your bidding. Sounds like an efficient way to get things done right? Well, what If I told you your PC could fill that role? You just need to learn to speak its language!Learning Objectives: 1. Understand Automation strategies and process breakdown
      2. Learn at least two new techniques / tools to investigate implementing at your firm
      3. Learn what not to try as a live demo in a BILT presentationBody: It’s surely everyone’s dream to have a robot servant to do your bidding. Sounds like an efficient way to get things done right? Well, what If I told you your PC could fill that role? You just need to learn to speak its language!

This is not a class in coding with a particular language or how to make a super-script to automate a project from start to finish. In this class I will cover some general knowledge, theory and strategy on automation gained from my personal experience, but mainly Ill introduce automation tools and techniques from Windows to MS Office to Revit.

Most of my tools are created in non-complied languages, so they are easy to read through and understand and/or modify. Wherever possible they rely on no external libraries or installs, making deployment across an organisation much easier. I also have a few tricks for working in an environment without administrator permissions.

Whether its saving users a few clicks each day or creating a project automation workflow, the time savings add up in any size organisation.

So how many times a day do you type in your email address?
