Kamran Mirza

Chartered Architect

Kamran Mirza, B.Sc. (Bath), B. Arch (Bath), ARB, RIBA, PCATP is a Chartered Architect at Gensler, London, UK. He has a cosmopolitan background and has lived and worked across Eurasia, including London, Cambridge, Barcelona, Hong Kong and Karachi.

He has 25 years of experience designing and delivering large and complex buildings from mixed-use and retail buildings, high-rise offices and hotels, and from a Grand Hyatt hotel to cutting-edge DNA-sequencing laboratories, on projects in the Middle-East, Asia, the UK and the USA.

He has coordinated teams of engineering and specialist consultants to deliver projects on time and on budget and has earned a reputation as a ‘will-get-it-done’ leader in tough environments.

He was a delegate at the CTBUH 2008 World Congress in Dubai, has worked on ISO-9001 QMS implementation teams and has taught complex building design to 4th year architecture students at university.

He has always been a first-adopter and was using BIM with ArchiCAD™ 4.12 in 1994 and has been using and implementing Revit™ since 2008.

Currently he is a member of the Gensler London Design Technology Team.

COVID-19 Update

20th May 2020

DBEI has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation around the world. While some parts of our society are beginning to open in baby-steps, none of us know how the situation will develop over the coming months. As such, DBEI has now made the decision to postpone all our 2020 events to 2021 as the well-being of all our partners and participants in our events remains our utmost priority. For new details on each region please visit our event pages. We have also sent communications to all registered attendees, speakers or sponsors for all of our 2020 events.

In the interim, DBEI will be launching several exciting virtual events and webinars in 2020 to continue to deliver the same expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry during these uncertain times. We also have some other exciting initiatives we are working on to continue to provide value to our community, which we look forward to sharing with you all shortly.
