Digital Practice Office Lead
Melissa received her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and her master’s degree from the University of Maryland. Based in the Washington, D.C., metro area, she has worked on a variety of projects from residential to presidential. Since finishing her education, she has taught for the Art Institute of Washington as an adjunct faculty member. In her career she has worked as the Project Lead, Project Manager, Professor and BIM Consultant. This has given her a unique set of experiences that shape her present work. After spending more than 12 years at firms, and 4 years a consultant she now works for HDR as their Digital Practice Office Lead developing new workflows pushing technology initiatives, and BIM cheerleader.
