Sam Gregson is a computational designer at Modulous working to deliver sustainable, modular homes via automation and digital technology. With over the eight years working as a structural engineer, Sam has accrued a wide range of project experience: large span glass and steel domes, such as several domes for Cruise Ships and Apple, Marina Bay Sands; bespoke structural glass staircases and facades; and acrylic structures such as the London Sky Pool. Before joining Modulous Sam’s key areas of focus were structural optimisation, and geometry manipulation and rationalisation. Now Sam interests lie in generative design and procedural generation as well as simplifying advanced calculations for real-time feedback.
