A post-Sydney, post-New York, post-post Digital Nomad, Wesley is the founder and Global Chairman of the Digital Built Environment Institute. As a long-term user and advocate of BIM (starting with ArchiCAD in 1996), Wesley has been speaking and teaching in the field since starting to play with a pre-release version of Revit.
Wesley has worked directly with Autodesk on Revit development and implementation, built content for manufacturers and end-users, and has implemented multiple BIM tools into well over 300 practices throughout South-East Asia and beyond.
He has spoken around the world on technology, facilities management and process change; he founded (and chaired for 5 years) the Revit User Group, Sydney; and is now focused on broad issues of sustainability and innovation for the AECO industry globally.

Rexter is Mott MacDonald’s Digital Delivery Manager (Major Projects) and is an accomplished engineer with an emphasis on applied technology for design and engineering project delivery. Over his 10 years’ experience, he worked on a broad portfolio of building and infrastructure projects while establishing a presence in the community through leadership involvement with BCA and other efforts to advance BIM adoption in Singapore, Hong Kong and other parts of the region. Rexter is a Member of the Structural Engineering Institute, Associate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and Professional Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in BIM Management with First Class Honours. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Engineering with emphasis on the application of Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Computing and Big Data Analytics in Construction.

Joe Darling is a Designer based in the Shanghai office of Perkins Eastman. Since 2014, Joe’s design focus and experience have been in Senior Living, Primary and Secondary Education, Healthcare, and Large-Scale Mixed-Use projects. In concert with his design experience, for the past seven years, Joe has pushed the boundaries of Rhino and Revit, creating tools for each that enable streamlined workflows and collaboration with stakeholders that are typically removed from the digital design process. Most recently, Joe began developing cross-platform applications that further his passion of linking distant stakeholders directly to the design team and process, all with the convenience of the mobile, desktop or web platform of the user’s choice. With his growing portfolio of design and technical expertise, Joe also serves as a BIM lead for the Shanghai Studio, mentoring his colleagues on best practices for engaging with BIM, while achieving optimal levels of design for the given phase.
