Brent Burgess

Principal Structural Technologist

Brent is a Principal Structural Technologist with over 22 years’ experience spanning buildings and transport infrastructure, on projects of all sizes and scopes. He is part of WSP’s Bridges and Structures Digital Engineering Leadership Team, Autodesk Working Group, and is the Chair of their Computational Design & Innovation Group, leading the strategy and development of innovative solutions across the group. He is also part of Autodesk’s Concrete and Rebar Revit Development Program.
Brent started his programming back in 2001, with LISP, and has written enterprise solutions and custom tool sets for AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, as well as bespoke software to automate solutions. He is a big advocate of innovation and automation to compliment manual processes.
