WHAT IS BILT FEDERAL?

The US government owns and manages about 640 million acres of land, nearly 28% of the land area of the United States. It operates roughly 2.5 billion square feet of building space. With 120,000 buildings in active utilization, and a further 20,000 buildings being un- or underutilized, the government is the most important property organization in the Americas. BILT Federal aims to connect the stakeholders in government with the AECO industry that supports it. The event provides opportunity for interaction at multiple levels: industry to government; government to industry; and government to government. In so doing we can foster the understanding within government of the latest innovations and opportunities brought about through new technologies and processes being adopted by the industry; the access for industry to networks and opportunities related to government projects; the sharing of lessons and methods across stakeholder groups; and much, much more.
