Synopsis:
Modern buildings are complex, the historic triple constraint of time, cost, quality is evolving to include new sustainability and technology challenges and opportunities. How can we realise the growing needs of the modern built environment while consuming less resources, improving the quality of the outcomes, and give back the most precious resource we have-time-to the people behind our creations?
Learning Objectives:
1. Learn effective strategies for coordinating complex projects in a 3d digital environment
2. Learn strategies for enabling real-time collaborative 3d coordination within the Revizto+ platform including the new clash automation engine
3. Learn what is means to achieve a ‘fully’ coordinated 3d model and why procurement of contractors early is curial for success
Body:
This presentation will explore how we coordinate our projects touching on workflows from the past that still linger within the industry today, through to modern 3d coordination strategies that utilise some of most advanced technologies within the AECO industry to empower design and construction teams to realise the dream of the elusive ‘golden triangle’ (time-cost-quality).
Together we will debate what ‘fully’ coordinated means to:
– Design teams
– Construction teams
– Building owners and Facility managers
We will explore highly effective strategies from real-world case studies sharing lessons learned that have led to the development of the advanced clash automation engine behind Revizto+.
Finally, we will dive deeper into the ‘nuts and bolts’ of Revizto+ exploring the key features behind this technology and why it stands-alone at this point in time when it comes to automating your projects 3d coordination.
