Be in the know this BILT Europe

With BILT Europe 2019 in Edinburgh just around the corner, here are some of our picks of the crop during the event that is sometimes missed. To be in the know this BILT Europe, make sure you check out these fantastic freebies when you’re here!

Open Door Tour

There are still places available for our Open Door Tour at 2pm and 3pm, which is free of charge to anyone attending the conference, so if you’re around the day before the conference begins and want to get a sneak peak into this £1 billion project, which is set to become the cornerstone of Edinburgh once complete. It only goes for 45 minutes and is a great way to start the conference, particularly if you haven’t attended before.

This year in our exhibition hall, we will also have our infamous Gadget Lab, featuring the latest tech on offer, but to make it very special, a select group of AEC industry leaders, headed by Andrew Milburn, have provided us with their model of the Notre-Dame de Paris, prior to the April fires this year. With our HP and MSI VR backpacks, you’ll be able to explore this model in VR using the latest Enscape and Revizto technology!

Some other goodies that you’ll get to take advantage of are our Speaker Lounge, which will be a dedicated area for you to meet up with speakers post-session if you have any further questions or want to have more in-depth discussions.

Make sure you also stop off at the Presentation Zone, during the breaks where you’ll be able to see mini-presentations on the latest and greatest technology in the market!

If you find yourself running low on battery (whether it be your phone, or your body) recharge yourself at stand 5, with the Xrev Recharge Zone, featuring a charging station for your devices, and a Berocca station for the brain!

COVID-19 Update

20th May 2020

DBEI has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation around the world. While some parts of our society are beginning to open in baby-steps, none of us know how the situation will develop over the coming months. As such, DBEI has now made the decision to postpone all our 2020 events to 2021 as the well-being of all our partners and participants in our events remains our utmost priority. For new details on each region please visit our event pages. We have also sent communications to all registered attendees, speakers or sponsors for all of our 2020 events.

In the interim, DBEI will be launching several exciting virtual events and webinars in 2020 to continue to deliver the same expertise, insights and knowledge to the AEC industry during these uncertain times. We also have some other exciting initiatives we are working on to continue to provide value to our community, which we look forward to sharing with you all shortly.
