How to get the most out of Revit materials
Synopsis:
Visualisation has become a primary deliverable to stakeholders and the quality of your materials has a massive impact on the quality of your visualisation, this talk will help you understand what makes a good material how to generate the images required for that material and how to effectively apply those with in Revit and visualisation packages like Enscape and twinmotion
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the images maps used in making materials and how they generate the finished material.
2. Understand how source the images you need and generate the additional maps required
3. Understand how to collaborate when working on visualisation.
Body:
This class will be looking at how the various material maps work, how they affect the finished render, lighting, depth affects, cutouts, self Illumination and animation. We will look at locations to find and download high quality material images and then look at various workflows to edit and generate these maps, as well as the most appropriate format you need to get the outcome you desire. I will also be talking about how to share and manage these images so that all of your users have access and can collaborate without missing material maps.
