Andrea has a background in both architecture and urban design with experience delivering international projects within multi-disciplinary teams. Andrea has been involved in medium to large-scale residential and infrastructure projects and has experience with several public-sector and urban regeneration projects in Brazil, Spain, Belgium and New Zealand.
In Jasmax, Andrea uses her knowledge of highly complex projects that demand notable coordination, accuracy and quick changes to create unique BIM solutions to increase the Urban Design & Landscape Team’s efficiency. She has been working closely with the Knowledge & Innovation team developing systems and customize solutions to automate laborious and extensive processes, typical from large scale projects. Andrea’s BIM knowledge also enables systematic and accurate teams’ interaction with the wider practice, consultants or other stakeholders; continuity for future stages of the project; faster 3D visualizations and accurate data management where data sets are part of the required output, like areas, yields, typology and bedroom mix, densities studies, among others.

Synopsis:
Large scale urban design projects can be difficult to deliver due to their scope and site extension. However, Revit and other automation tools can help by providing both accuracy and efficiency. This session will discuss and share the development and implementation of Revit/Dynamo tools and workflows at Jasmax that focus on the visualization and delivery of a neighbourhood plan.
