Andrew graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2008 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree, focused on structural design. For nearly 12 years he worked as a BIM leader and structural engineer at a large A/E design firm, working on projects ranging from healthcare to historic preservation, including the $300 million dollar renovation of the Minnesota State Capitol. In 2020, he transitioned to Lerch Bates where the focus is on forensic engineering, rehabilitation design, facade access and vertical transportation consulting. He is an Autodesk certified professional and a registered Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in several states.
