BIM Manager
I defended my Master thesis at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2016 and started working as a researcher for BIM at the same faculty. In 2017 I worked for Leica Geosystems in Switzerland as an development engineer for DISTO products connecting BIM with tools for data capture. Since 2018 I’ve been working as a BIM manager at Elea iC, taking care of company’s BIM development and BIM project management, specializing in BIM usage in tunnelling and development of data management systems. I am also a member of the IFC Tunnel workgroup and long-time mentor for Stanford’s PBL Lab BIM collaboration projects.

Synopsis:
4D and 5D analysis are problematic for large projects, but engineers can use Deswik tools to set up dynamic rules for tasks, dependencies, resources and QTOs based on IFC models. The presentation shows how do this efficiently on a large infrastructural project.
