Nathan is currently the construction BIM coordinator on a $3.8 billion iconic project in his local city. With vast experience in BIM, training, management and resourcing in the engineering / construction industry and having worked in 3 different countries covering a broad area of disciplines including Civil, Marine, Industrial, Mining, Buildings specialising in Structural and Revit / BIM. Having worked on a large array of different projects in Education, Health, Transport, Aviation, Defence, Commercial, Residential, Water, Mining and more, Nathan has been able to learn and create different BIM workflows to maximise project efficiency. In addition Nathan has developed Library content / Workflow systems for previous companies as well as BIM execution plans for company templates and client specific projects.
Founding committee member of his local BIM community BrisBIM, which continues to run strong after 7 years.

Synopsis:
As digital technology advances in our industry, different sectors are still finding out how it this space affects them, and how they need to evolve. Focusing on Consultants and Contractors, I will be sharing my experience on how these two parties need to adapt, and where the industry seems to be failing each of them when delivering BIM for more and more projects. This will be a mix of traditional ways vs new evolving solutions as both Consultants and Contractors learn their roles in the new digital world.
