Ennead Architects
Associate Architect
Sen Zhang is an Associate Architect at Ennead Architects, based in New York City. His primary focus is on designing office campuses and headquarters for clients in the Asian market. Alongside his architectural duties, Sen has also been developing architectural software plugins as a side project within the office. Recently, he has started to shift his focus more predominantly towards this innovative software development role.
Despite having no formal computer science education, Sen took the initiative to teach himself how to use pyRevit as a foundation for developing professional plugins. What began as a personal project has since grown into an office-wide essential tool, now branded as the EnneadTab Ecosystem. This suite of tools spans across various software platforms including Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop. The EnneadTab Ecosystem addresses various workflow challenges for architects, offering solutions that simplify and enhance the design process.
Sen is an alumnus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Columbia University, holding degrees in Architecture, and he is licensed to practice in New York State.
